Chiastic Consulting, LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you use the HQ OS platform.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information to provide and improve our services:
- Account Information: Your name, email address, company name, and phone number when you create an account.
- Operational Data: Client information, jobs, scheduling, and other operational data you enter into HQ OS to run your service business.
- Connected App Data (QuickBooks): When you authorize the QuickBooks integration, we collect and sync necessary financial data, such as invoices, customer lists, and estimates, directly from Intuit.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information strictly to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the HQ OS platform.
- Facilitate the synchronization of data between HQ OS and QuickBooks.
- Send transactional emails (e.g., login links, password resets, and emailing your invoices to your clients).
- Process your subscription payments.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or business data. We only share information with third-party service providers necessary to operate our platform:
- Supabase: We use Supabase to securely host our database and store your operational data.
- Email Gateways: We integrate with email service providers to route and deliver transactional emails and invoices on your behalf.
- Intuit QuickBooks: We share necessary operational data (like newly created invoices or updated customer records) back to your QuickBooks account, based entirely on the permissions you grant when connecting the app.
4. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and at rest, to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
5. Data Retention, Deletion, and Portability
We retain your account and operational data for as long as your HQ OS account is active.
Right to Portability (Export): You may export a complete, machine-readable copy of your company data at any time via your account settings. For security and server performance reasons, you are limited to one full data export per 24 hours.
Right to Deletion: You have the right to request the complete deletion of your account and all associated data. To do so, please contact us at support@chiasticconsulting.com. Upon receiving a verifiable request, we will permanently and securely delete all your company data from our active databases (including Supabase) within 7 days. Please note that data deleted from HQ OS will not automatically delete corresponding records you have already synced to your Intuit QuickBooks account.
